Welcome to Motor Sport Rider

This website was developed to facilitate the exchange of information among motorcycling enthusiasts. The intent is also for this to be a place for potential new riders to find useful information to help them get started, so please share your knowledge and wisdom.

Who created this site and why?
My name is Randal Adamache. I started riding motorcycles more than 30 years ago, and I've owned many along the way (dirt, dual sport, standard, sport, sport touring). I also do most of my own motorcycle maintenance. I've owned a few snowmobiles too, although I don't currently ride one. I like riding alot. It's a lot of fun, well... a lot of the time anyway. What I wanted to do was to create a useful website where riders can meet online, find other people in their area to ride with, and to more easily and effectively exchange information about what they're passionate about - riding, where they ride and what they ride. I developed this website in my spare time as a personal project.

Currently, this site has only a moderate amount of content. I'm counting on you, the riders out there, to change that by submitting vehicle reviews, riding route information, etc. This website is for you. Please make use of it. I hope you find it useful. If you have any contructive criticism, or if you encounter any problems with the website, I would like to hear from you. Please use the "Contact" page.

Registration
You need to register in order to access all of the functionality of the site. This currently includes:
  • submit riding route information including GPS files
  • post and reply to notices for riding buddies - find someone to ride with
  • create and manage photo albums
  • post comments
  • submit vehicle reviews
  • manage your member profile
  • view and search the member list - find members in your area
  • maintain a list of rider contacts
  • send private messages to other members

You do not need to provide your name or any confidential information in order to register. You do need to provide a valid email address, but it will not be made public.

Why do I need to register?
You need to register so that the website (and other users) can identify you (via your user name / display name) when you send messages, and post content, etc., and so that you can later access that information to view, edit or delete it.

Note: This website requires that you have cookies and javascript enabled in your browser. It is recommended that you use a newer version of Internet Explorer (IE), Google Chrome or Firefox. They are free to download. This website has not been tested (and may not work correctly) with older versions of these browsers or others.

Development of this website is ongoing.

Cheers,

Randal Adamache,
Website developer
